Yin Yoga is a passive practice consisting primarily of seated and supine postures held for 3-5 minutes each. The long holds are designed to help access the deeper layers of connective tissues in the body, including fascia, ligaments, and tendons. This practice is accessible to everyone, no matter your skill level, age, or physical shape. In a yin yoga class, you’ll experience a deep connection to breath, and an opportunity to create a richly cultivated awareness of your body.
Poses you will learn: Butterfly, Sleeping Swan, Saddle pose, Shoelace, Caterpillar, and more!
What you can expect after class: a feeling of spaciousness, light, and zen! You’ll feel taller, we practically guarantee it!
